Description
Planetary Conjunction of Mercury, Venus and Jupiter. Mercury is the highest and Venus is the lowest, with Jupiter to the left, forming a nice tight triangle. I took this photograph on May 26, 2013 at Lake Murray, SC. My camera position was on the dam, near the intake towers, which can be seen in the foreground, By Friday, May 31, the planets had rotated to form a straight vertical, near equidistant line, with Mercury on top, Venus in the middle and Jupiter below.
